SANDY BEACH

From the Falls Motel, take a right on Maiden Lane. Go about a block and a half until you come to the Power Park, you can park here. Across the Power Park there is a paved road, follow the road all the way to the end. There is a trail heading down to the river to the right of the road, follow this and you can swim next to the big rock at the end of the trail.

CHERRY CREEK ROCK

From Thompson Falls head west on Highway 200 across the Clark Fork River bridge, just beyond that, turn left onto the Thompson Pass/Prospect Creek Road. Follow this road about 1.5 miles, turn left onto Cherry Creek Road. About a half mile down Cherry Creek Road, there is a bridge with a turnout just on the other side, you can park here. The swimming hole is right next to the bridge, you can even jump off the huge rock that is there.

MOUTH OF PROSPECT CREEK

From Thompson Falls head west over the Clark Fork River bridge, just after the bridge turn left onto the Thompson Pass/Prospect Creek Road. About 1.5 miles up, turn left onto Cherry Creek Road, follow this just past Dry Creek Road, turn left and follow this road all the way to its end (by the High Bridge). You can park here. There is a dirt road to the left you walk down (or drive down in a pickup), at the bottom there is another parking area. Just after the parking area is the mouth of Prospect Creek, you can swim there.

FLAT IRON BOAT DOCK

From Thompson Falls head west across the Clark Fork River bridge, past the Les Schwab. Go about 1.5 miles past Les Schwab. To your right is the Flat Iron Boat Dock, there will be a recreation sign before you get there.
Wild Goose Landing Boat Dock: From the Falls Motel, turn right to go across town. Pass all the shops and to your right will be the Wild Goose Landing Boat Dock, it’s barely out of town.

FINLEY FLAT

From Thompson Falls head west on highway 200 across the Clark Fork River bridge, keep following highway 200 until you see a recreational sign that says Finley Flat (approx. 6-8 miles). The road is on your right just before a little gas station.
